Students from our Spring courses visited the Oxford Museum of Natural History and the Pitt Rivers Museum. Full of specimens that were collected in the late 1800’s this is a place to get lost in the past and see items from different species and exhibits from different cultures. Students took the opportunity to touch many of the exhibits including a bear, a whale’s jaw bone and dinosaur skeletons!
Going into Pitt Rivers was a fascinated experience for all of our students. They saw a wide range of artefacts from different cultures: Jewellery, cloaks, bowls, musical instruments, weapons, games etc. Students were full of amazement and wonder when they came out!
